The restaurant is really beautifully located and offers a great and authentic outdoor area in the summer months, which we also used during our visit. The food is consistently very good and something special. Here you are in good hands when it comes to good and comfortable dining. The aperitifs are also in the Trent and are really delicious. The service is really attentive and accommodating and is even available for a quick chat. As long as we are back in the north, we would like to come back.
The food was generally very good. The corn-fed chicken breast was an absolute highlight. That wasn't expected but it was very good. Everything to the point and very friendly service... Gladly again
We celebrated our birthday with almost 30 people in the Domschänke and simply have to give it 5 stars. Price/performance is right.
First-class buffet, great “old school” service and a very nice ambience in a historic building with modern interior design.

A good nice restaurant in the old town. The service is friendly, there are plenty of seats and the food was delicious. The Knipp was outstanding, while I had hoped for more from the house-made shortcrust pastry biscuit with the coffee.
The quality only decreases! I've been invited to eat there a number of times, but now I had to write a review because I really think it's getting worse and worse. The prices are slightly higher than other restaurants, which in itself means that the quality is good. But I ordered pasta and, firstly, the mushrooms that were on the menu weren't available, but others were offered. That was okay until the food came and it really couldn't be fresh mushrooms, but partly a frozen mixture was mixed in. There was even sand in between! The sauce hardly tasted like anything either, the noodles were almost overcooked and there was very little to see of spinach and really mushy tomatoes. Paying €17 for such noodles was disappointing.
The salad I ordered with it was at least tasty and seemed fresh, but that doesn't take away from the main course. We also had to wait quite a long time, especially for the drinks, even though there wasn't that much going on.
It wasn't the first time that we noticed how long everything takes. At least the service was friendly.
